Re: lack of testing and working on new stuff?
If there isn't a concentrated effort to squash bugs, then isn't that digging a deeper and deeper hole that you will never get out of ? Pot, kettle, Mr. "I Write Patches that Make the Code Less Readable and Maintainable and Are Hacks that Cover Up Bugs Instead of Actually Fixing Them". WTF...

Re: lack of testing and working on new stuff?
On the subject matter, why work on new things when there are tons of bugs that should be fixed before more features are made? Because I/we can. It is as simple as that. Overall, when someone contributes their time to the project, the project benefits. Now -- unfortunately -- it is not possible to d...

Newnet issues
Ever since reading the mailing list about the newnet merge coming this weekend, I decided to try it out. Can someone explain what these new icons means ? The first one shows "Zzz" and I always see that on both machines in a LAN game. The other one shows "2 + 2 = 5" and this one p...

Re: Warzone's power system
I don't think it is possible to describe the changes accurately.
The best way would be to produce two builds, one with the current way, and the other one with the proposed new way.
Stick them in this thread and let people actually try them out.
Anything less, and it just isn't going to work.

Humans cheat, the AI don't!
Is there a good reason why the AI can't pick up oil drums ? This is a obvious cheat for human players, and since the AI isn't that hard, it is a built in cheat for human players. :hmm: I also noticed in a few multiplayer games when player's power jump, it is because those oil drums spawn way too fas...

Can other people use your models, or are they restricted for your own group ?Jorzi wrote:Indeed, also, I have never converted a model into .pie and I know very little about modding, I mainly do modeling only.

Re: Cant get rid of this mod!
Fixed, thanks to fastdeath on the IRC. I know a few other people are stuck with this, since they were int he server i was in when i joined. I suggest a filesize limit on maps when hosting something large enough to take in maps of any size, but small enough so that actual mods cant be uploaded to yo...

Re: Harrasment? Really!
Oh yes I need to say this: Someone is going around impersonating Dylan_Hsu, Merowingg and they are blaiming it on me. What the hell is up with that I doubt there is much sympathy for the first person, since that ******** is the biggest ******* known in warzone land. How do you know they are ...

I've brought this up before. :P http://forums.wz2100.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2853&start=0 Hey, we actually agree on something! ;) :lol2: Now make it a requirement before people can submit "finished" maps. :D I would like to create some maps, but as for now the MAC version of the m...

Re: Spammers and this forum section
j0shdrunk0nwar, heh :) From my count, it looks like around 5-10 spam messages a day, and it is almost always in this section. While they may not live long here, it still is annoying. The best bet is, if you allow anyone to post, those who are not registered, should require moderation. That would sav...
