Re: Unable to host a game: connection timed out on Warzone

Disabling Windows is a good start, but enabling Linux helps too.

Actually, I get the same or similar error when hosting. Which is actually rather strange, since my games do show in the lobby and people can join anyway. I don't know if it could be somehow related to having gotten native IPv6 support.

Re: Release 3.3.0

Commanders need more experience, so the experience of a "Special" commander might be equivalent to the experience of a "Hero" regular unit. Was the recycled unit a commander?

Re: Thread pooling?

… The problem with threading is probably that it doesn't work very well with spaghetti code that messes with lots of random global variables hidden all over the place. Is... is that whining I hear?! Well chop-chop Cyp, get to fixing it. That's an order! :P But I don't know how to fix threading, suc...

Re: Who uses cannon-flak?

Hurricane requires twin MG and Whirlwind requires AG. I haven't noticed any of its upgrades depending on cannons at all. I think the problem might be that AA (except for cannon FLAK) is way too strong in general, that almost nothing except dedicated AA can shoot at VTOLs, and that VTOL bombs and VTO...

Re: http://wz2100.net broken

Other pages on the site seem to work, such as http://wz2100.net/news/ — it's just the main page that mysteriously goes to an Apache2 page, even though Apache2 isn't running (although it mysteriously starts up by itself occasionally, and has to be killed again).

Re: Multiplayer not supported for 3.3.0?

See bottom where it says "Last hosted game was 0 hours, 2 mins, and 48 secs ago.". Number of games varies depending on time of day. If possible, you can try hosting yourself, if noone else is.

No, they're too old-fashioned. It will be a diagonal scroll bar.

Re: How do you rotate a graphical model?

Setting archangel to 5 or changing ripple rockets to homing-indirect and setting to 5 should work, though. Plain indirect artillery gets a minimum speed due to being affected by gravity, but needing to be able to reach the target.

Good if you can read it, maybe soon you can write it too. Not many people can speak it, though. The spoken form is rather weird.

Re: I cannot configure, make or minstall none version of Warzone on Linux!

Oh, wait, by stuck in a loop, you mean it gets in a loop where it compiles lots of files, until it runs out of files to compile? Not that it gets stuck on one file forever? If so, that actually happens with lots of packages. Pretty much all of them, actually. Depending on the CPU, 20 minutes isn't r...

Is it getting stuck compiling a different file each time?

It's a long shot, but maybe try blowing dust out of the CPU fan, if there is any.

Re: I cannot configure, make or minstall none version of Warzone on Linux!

Try installing zip, if it somehow isn't installed already. And maybe also report a bug somewhere (maybe with your distro) about the LUKS filesystem causing weird problems.

Re: Art Revolution mod. Latest release: January, 2015

… I don't think the AR mod can be downloaded in game because it's 40MB. If it's in master (not β1), then it should be possible in half a second or so, otherwise I think it's limited to 2 kB per vsync (maybe for ancient historical reasons, might crash if receiving more than that at once, not sure), ...
