You want this instead: patch -p0 < ../Desktop/beta1_lighting.diff Which patches the current directory with input...

Which version of Warzone 2100 is that anyway? And where did you get it from? And yes, PhysFS 1.0.1 is required for the Linux binary package of 2.0.10, and PhysFS 1.1.1 has some issue which can make the game crash when you have sound enabled.
