why not precalculate all possible paths on map load then use a lookup table to find best path? maps are only 250x250 max right? All pairs shortest path calculation is O(N^3) or thereabouts (Floyd's algorithm IIRC). It also requires a fair bit of storage, O(N^2) for a 2D array based implementation. ...

I can't find a reference to who did the voice acting for WZ (although I'm sure I've seen it somewhere), but I suspect that they might just sound similar because they were voiced by the same actor.

Suddenly got 100k power in campaign gamma 4

Campaign, gamma 4 (?) Gamma 4 (I think) - the screen after you hide in the valley to avoid the nuke. Almost immediately on starting, I got the nexus speech and a 'Power transferred' notification; my power went up to 100k. This looks like it wasn't meant to happen. I think we're into semantics here. The terrain renderer is a modification to the existing graphics engine. It is most certainly not an exercise in porting WZ2100 to another engine made by Id or some other third party. This is mentioned in the FAQ - there's no particular intention to do a new graphic...

No. Actually, it is possible, as I do it. The driver I use is the NVidia Quadro driver on Windows XP with a Quadro FX 1400. I've also had it working on Linux on a NVS285 using the NVidia driver. The driver has a mode where it treats the two screens as one large frame buffer. I can't really make any...
