Re: How many still playing actively ??
I've gotten into this game recently. It's fun and uses few resources so I like to play it on the go, unlike Supreme Commander which will kill my laptop battery ASAP.

Re: D8 [Mac issue!]
It seems the Mac version needs X11 to compile at least. http://developer.wz2100.net/wiki/CompileGuide/Mac It does not strictly speaking require X11 to compile; it does however, require it to run. This is not because it actually uses X11 itself, but rather because it depends on libraries that X11 in...

Re: D8 [Mac issue!]
Does the Mac version use X11?
I've noticed, on my Mac at least, apps that use X11, Java, or Windows virtualization take a long time to load. I think it has to do with the OS starting the environment.

Re: all units look the same!
Hey ebenezer! Have you tried assigning your units to a commander?
Those units go to the repair building and when they are done will come back to the commander. They will also still be in the same group. Does that help?

Re: Re-map build key (and other locked keys)
It might be easier to change your keyboard options. I used to have a laptop running Windows XP that had a feature to switch the way the function keys work. Now I have a Mac 10.5 laptop that allows you to switch the function keys too. If you have a Mac go to System Preferences and choose Keyboard &am...

60MB is better than 600MB. I'm glad you can download the video files separately.

1 Pathfinding, I agree with Assault Gunner 2 Zoom Out More, it doesn't have to go as far as Supreme Commander but further than now 3 Polish, I know this is hard with a 10 year old game that is now community developed with volunteers spare time! The best games seem to have a caring community and a lo...

Re: Vote on the new textures!
Hey stiv, I'm not an expert on this but I think the gamma situation has changed. Mac OS 10.6 uses Gamma 2.2, the same as TVs and Windows OS, which is more accurate in dark situations but less accurate in bright areas. This makes sense as most displays don't work very well in bright areas anyway and ...

Re: MAC users, where are you guys?
It has been a while since I played this game last and it's come a long way. I've played this game on a Core 2 Duo iMac, a Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro running OS 10.5.8 and it plays great compared to the last time I tried.
Kudos to everyone and especially the Mac devs.
