I came here hoping someone had a strategy guide or a behaviour fix for this issue. Do people discuss building strategy like this? I'd be very interested to see how people construct effective fortifications. As Minefake said: I find it easier to just never research nor use gates in 99% of situations....

Examples? after clearing buildings the cursor is telling me i cant go onto the grass or snow, but does let me drive there. It will not however let me drive off the snow onto the flat area on top of the rise (near the machinegun vehicles), and it will not let me build anywhere except on the road tex...

4c-Fantastic A wide 4-player FFA map with non-standard tile types ( screenshots ). Why can't I build in so many obviously strategic squares? Places that are flat and unobstructed, and of obvious strategic value. Why can't vehicles drive into a number of areas that have no obvious reason to disallow...

You also have to remember Yeah, I know. Still, with enough hinting and winking and nudging we might get lucky with the icon visibility one day. :) For now I just have to build bigger vehicles earlier so that I can see them. ... not that having the biggest tank before anyone else is a bad thing eith...

why I play warzone in 1280x720 I might have to consider this, but last time I did it locked up the primary display and munched the desktops around, so I'm hesitant. Similarly WZ fullscreen is far less preferable than KDE fullscreen. The latter lets me keep using global hotkeys etc. the GUI is code....

Yeah the gui slots run out, but as you delete some the others cascade in to fill the gaps. The idea is that as soon as a vehicle combination is possible it will be automatically available, then all I need to do is cull the superseded vehicles off the list.
