1. Default to Insane difficulty in Skirmish games:

netplay.cpp
NetPlay.players.difficulty = 1; // normal - set to 3 for Insane (Should this use the constants? :-) )

Guidance Please

Hi,

there are a couple of tweaks to the code I'd like to make for my personal use but I cannot find the correct routines to modify.
These are both for Skirmish:

1. Enemy defaults to Insane difficulty
2. Set enemy colour automatically to my preferfed order.

Very excited there's a new release!

In Skirmish mode I am now getting "Artifact Discovered" messages when I destroy the enemy factories. Is this intentional?

the software libraries that we rely on are now dropping XP support, just like everyone else these days. It would be increasingly difficult for us to retain support for XP. This is very true. Hi, as stated here the minimum screen resolution for WZ2100 is currently 640x480 and this makes it difficult to add functionality to various screens. Are there good reasons why 640x480 should be the kept as the base resolution for the game? Wouldn't 1024x768 or 1280x720 allow support for devices suc...

#001 Rotating map - I often change the rotation or angle of the map by mistake. As an unsophisticated player, having the HQ be a requirement for map and designs (and nothing else) makes sense to me :-)

As an aside, does destroying an AI's HQ when playing in single player have any effect on them?

Both the above variants have the consequence that if you have 49 busy rearm pads at the far end of the map, 1 VTOL pad close to the enemy base, and 100 VTOLs coming back to rearm, then all 100 VTOLs will land at the 1 close rearm pad.
